# Site Preparation Checklist Before Your Parking System Arrives

> Before delivery, confirm a level, reinforced concrete slab to the foundation drawing, a dedicated power supply (usually 380 V three-phase), drainage for pits, clear access for 40-ft containers and a crane or forklift, and any building or fire approvals.

Most installation delays come from the site, not the equipment. Use this checklist with your contractor as soon as the order is confirmed.

## 1. Foundation and floor

- Get the foundation load drawing for your exact model and layout.

- Check slab thickness and concrete grade where columns will be anchored.

- Level the floor within the tolerance on the drawing; shimming is limited.

- For pit systems, waterproof the pit and provide a sump or drain.

## 2. Power and controls

- Provide a dedicated supply at the voltage ordered (commonly 380 V three-phase).

- Install an isolator within sight of the control panel.

- Run conduit for cables between the panel, motors and sensors as shown on the electrical layout.

- Plan data cabling if you use card readers, payment or remote monitoring.

## 3. Access and logistics

- Confirm that a container truck can reach the site and where it will park.

- Arrange a forklift or crane for unloading heavy columns.

- Reserve a dry, secure area for steel and electrical parts.

- Check door openings and ramps for the longest parts on the packing list.

## 4. Approvals and safety

- Building permit or structural approval where required.

- Fire-safety review for sprinklers and smoke extraction above stacked cars.

- Signage, line marking and user instructions at the entrance.

## 5. Installation and handover

A two-level lift is typically installed in one to two days per unit. Puzzle systems take from about one week to several weeks depending on size, and towers longer. Our technicians can supervise on site or guide your installers by video, with drawings and an installation manual for every order. Handover includes a load test, user training and the maintenance schedule.

## FAQ

### What concrete do parking lifts need?

Follow the foundation drawing for your model. Lifts anchored to an existing slab typically need reinforced concrete at least 150 mm thick of grade C25 or better, level within a few millimetres across the footprint.

### What power supply is required?

Most systems run on 380 V, 50/60 Hz three-phase power. Smaller hydraulic lifts can be supplied for 220 V single-phase. Specify the voltage when ordering.

### How is the equipment shipped?

Steel columns, beams and pallets are packed in 20-ft or 40-ft containers. Plan for unloading with a forklift or crane and a dry storage area near the installation point.
